Location:

The central region of Nepal, known as Himavatkhand, is the Tapobhoomi of sages, Devghat area, Nawalparasi district, Gaindakot A.G.V.S. Under, about 4 km north from Narayani Bridge on East West Mahendra Highway. Tada is a well-known pilgrimage site and the powerful Maulakalika Bhagwati temple located at a height of 561 meters above sea level.

Historic Land:
Around the end of the fifteenth century and the beginning of the sixteenth century, about 500 years ago, during the reign of King Manimukunda Sen of Palpa, there is a legend that the then army unit was worshiping Kalika Bhagwati by installing a Maulo Gadi stone in his fort. After the merger of the said king, there was a big sal tree at the place where the stone was installed, a stone wall of Oripori, a piece of wood that had been eaten by Dhamira, some black-colored round stones in the shape of a snake, almost ash-like weapons, and also a stone awl. In the earthquake of 1990, the tree of that year fell down, the historical objects and structures there were destroyed. The tribals of the village gradually started migrating elsewhere. Immigrants were not so interested. The custom of going to the temple and reciting prayers gradually disappeared. In the month of January 2032, Kashinath Paudel, a resident of Gaindakot-1, after seeing Kalika Magwati in his dream, reached the site of the temple along with H. Kumansingh Gurung. After a few days, all the villagers built a small temple with stones and clay due to their activity.
